If you're on the south bank of the Thames and you have a few minutes, there's a fine new (and free) exhibit at the Tate Modern featuring post-war Italian artists, one of which is Alberto Burri. Burri, who did some amazing things with plastic wrap and burlap sacks, is in the news
today for different reasons. A large cache of his works, never seen in public, was stolen, smuggled out of his country cottage in the south of France. The story is in
