Il duomo in Catania

In Catania's magnificent Cathedral, dedicated to St. Agatha and built 1,000 years ago, looms the creepiest lectern I've ever seen. It's a drippy metalic structure with the heads of the woeful and damned protruding out the side. Very inspiring.
